Proposed dental practice move May 1st 2025

Yahya graduated from the Leeds Dental Institute and was awarded the prestigious Jane Livingstone prize in periodontology (the treatment of gum disease). Yahya provides all aspects of general and cosmetic dentistry including composite bonding and porcelain veneers. He also provides Invisalign and dental implants.

Yahya is committed to postgraduate education and has completed implant training from the British academy of implant and restorative dentistry as well as a yearlong course from ICE Dental school in Manchester. He has completed restorative training from Tipton training and is currently studying a diploma in clear aligner orthodontics. Yahya has completed several other courses which includes training in America.

Yahya has also completed extensive training in smile design and veneers with the bespoke smile academy which included training in London and Germany. Outside of work, Yahya is a season ticket holder at Manchester United. He has also raised money for various charities and has run the London marathon as well as completing the London to Paris cycle ride within 24 hours.

Ahmed provides general dentistry and is a dentist with a specialist interest in orthodontics after graduating from the Royal College of Surgeons in England. With more than 30 years experience as a principal dentist and clinician, he can provide holistic care. He also works in Leeds providing orthodontic treatment to children and adults.

Ahmed provides fixed orthodontic treatment at Batley Carr Dental Centre. Outside of work, Ahmed spends time with his family and loves keeping active and is involved in circuit training.

Nabila has been providing general and cosmetic dentistry at Batley Carr Dental Centre for more than 15 years and has extensive postgraduate training.

She started her training here and still continues to provide excellence in patient care and treatment. Outside of work, Nabila enjoys spending quality time with her family.

Dr Aadil Kasia graduated from the University of Sheffield in 2016. Born and raised in Batley, he loves working at Batley Dental Centre as he feels it is a way of giving back to his local community.

Dr Kasia provides all aspects of general dental care and has a keen interest in providing cosmetic dentistry including teeth whitening and Invisalign. In his free time, he enjoys spending quality time with his family.

Dr. Nadeem Sabir BDS (Hons) MFDS RCS Ed   Now accepting referrals for Oral Surgery and Dental Implants.   Nadeem qualified from the University of Manchester in 2013 and was one of the few dentists to graduate with Honours. He returned to Yorkshire to complete his vocational training before spending several years in various hospitals to build extensive surgical experience. He continues to work as a Speciality Doctor in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.

In 2014, Nadeem successfully attained the prestigious MFDS qualification from Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh. His commitment to the profession is shown by the numerous national and international courses he has attended in Implant and Cosmetic dentistry throughout the UK, Europe and USA to further his knowledge and learn the latest dental techniques for his patients.

Dr Sabir has a special interest in Dental Implants, Oral Surgery and Cosmetic Dentistry. He is experienced in treating nervous patients with intravenous sedation and provides this service for his patients when appropriate.

Dr Sabir is a perfectionist and combines true professionalism with genuine warmth and informality, ensuring that even the most anxious patient is made to feel relaxed and reassured.

He is very approachable and highly empathetic; he will explain all treatment modalities and educate all his patients before starting treatment. The driving force behind Dr Sabir’s approach to dentistry is restoring confidence and transforming lives for his patients.

Outside of work, Nadeem loves to spend time with his friends/family, keeping fit and travelling abroad to experience new cultures.

Iqra graduated from the Leeds Dental Institute and provides routine and cosmetic dental care. She has a fantastic rapport with patients and enjoys treating those that are anxious. She also provides Invisalign treatment and enjoys giving patients the confidence to smile again.

Outside of work, she spends time with her family and is always travelling and exploring new cuisines!

Meet Dr Usman MChD BChD BSc. Usman graduated from Leeds university and enjoys practicing all aspects of general and restorative dentistry. He takes pride in promoting excellent patient care and is also committed to postgraduate education. He is committed to post-graduate training in restorative and aesthetic dentistry and practices very minimal dentistry. In his spare time, he likes travelling and playing football regularly! Like most dentists at Batley Carr, he also supports Manchester United.

Meet Dr Aatika Patel MChD BChD BSc   Aatika graduated from Leeds university and is the latest addition to our team. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry, especially managing anxious patients. She takes pride in putting patients at ease and helping them feel comfortable visiting the dentist. Outside of work, she enjoys baking, cooking and new foods. She loves travelling and experiencing different cultures.

University of Leeds 2001 Perveen qualified as a Dental Hygienist from the University of Leeds in 2001. Prior to this, she worked as a dental nurse for a period of three years. All in all, she has over 24 years experience in the dental field.    Perveen has excellent communication skills and is able to treat anxious patients by putting them at ease. She is known for her gentle and caring nature and is always complemented by her patients. Perveen is referred to by her patients as “The lady with angel hands”.   Perveen is continuously seeking further knowledge and experience by attending new courses, the most recent being teeth whitening.   Outside the world of work, she loves to help the wider community and has held the position of School Parent Governor for a period of four years at a local Primary School. She also enjoys cooking, travelling, spending time with family and friends.

Dr Ghous Saghir BDS  Ghous graduated from the University of Bristol. Ghous provides general, restorative and aesthetic dentistry. Ghous enjoys completing smile makeovers using Invisalign, teeth whitening and composite bonding as well as complex smile cases. Ghous is the founder of Nouvelle Esthetique and can provide fillers and anti wrinkle injections. Ghous is committed to postgraduate education. He is a graduate of the bespoke smile academy. Outside of work, Ghous likes to travel and explore different cultures and is also a keen sportsman and likes to keep active with football and attending the gym.

Meet Dr Alina Khalid BDS   Alina graduated from the University of Birmingham and provides general dental treatment and has a keen interest in minimally invasive restorative dentistry. Alina is a devoted to providing excellent patient care and enjoys treating children and anxious patients.
